Today I rode from home on the Trek and headed for Beverly Road to skirt around the base of Paris Mountain on Dreamland, South Parker, and Pilot. That part of the ride was very up and down and windy. I followed Old Buncombe across the trail then got on the trail at the Gazebo in Travelers Rest. From there I rode to the north end of the trail where I turned to head back down the trail. I rode back down the trail stopping every 4 miles to drink. A family stopped me at the F-86 to ask directions to TR. I went on through the park and headed up the big hill to go home. When I got to the top of the big hill, I stopped for a drink and passed out. I found myself on the pavement and got out from under the bike. I tried to stand up, but was too weak. I waited a while and was still too weak, so I called Cissi to come get me. I was less than a mile and a half from home.
