The Swamp ROMP cancelled because of the threat of rain, but I looked at forecast and the weather radar and saw that there was one small cell that would move through just about the time the ride started. I texted Erica and we decided to ride. We left about 9:15 just after the cell stopped sprinkling. The trail was wet and there was some water dripping from the trees, but we rode in no rain. We rode through TR then on out to the end of the trail and turned back. My legs are just totally gone, so I had Erica try to pace me and pick up our pace. We did okay and made it back to the Cafe. We stopped for an Okra Winfrey pizza along with a dark cherry homemade soda. I also bought a recovery drink that tasted like chaulky chocolate milk and bought a pair of chocolate chip scones to take home. Erica and I enjoyed the pizza very much.
