Comments: Fed Ciuckis - the Pipe Dog. Making good friends with him. Slowly but surely. Delicious bones. Terrible slush in the park. Muddy trails. Rode downtown to the Christmas Tree, lotsa broken glass after yesterday's party. Got home early, replaced the BB and the brake shoes, put the 32mm tires on.

Comments: Spent about an hour standing in lines to clear a small package from the US with magnets. $10 or so worth. Super European bureaucracy. Stood in trhee separate lines. There was a rate of 3 people served at one counter. Postal Office complaints on lack of workers, but there are always at least half of clerks doing nothing, just drinking coffee or watching over the shoulder of their partners doing their work, pretending they are teaching or learning. Lots of computers, forget true typing, yet they fill most of the forms by hand. By law they required to fill several copies of bills with a lot of signatures and stamps if a company just buy a plain cents worth envelope. Administration costs are terrible. Lines are hughe, no one saves time, both customers and clerks are angry. Got desperate and rode to work, did not have time to complete what I had planned.

Comments: Some morning park ride prior to commute saw a December rainbow - very rare in Lithuania, quickly did the job, brought the packages to the outgoing post office, got home, some city ride, fed the Pipe Dog. Ciuckis already let me in into his chain territory. Tasty bones. Back and forth the city, hid Mr. Herring geocache, replaced the Collapse geocache, LBS for a new fork and a front wheel, stopped by BMS for a UM computer. Love my new EEE toy. Needs to be modified though. Will start growing a fir tree from a seed for next Christmas, found a nice half eaten cone lost by a squirrel.

Comments: Pilaite, Salote, Lazdynai. Hid a Skinny Horse geocache, brought the Pipe Dog some tasty bones, downtown errands, work. The post office with load followed by Gelezinkelio Post Office. Thought I'd pick a small package from the US. I estimated three hours in line and headed back to work. Three hours for a ten buck worth package!!!!! The bureaucracy sucks. Gave a test to my new EEE computer. Nice little toy, easy to carry around in my bicycle hydration backpack. Some park ride after dark. Started raining so got home early.

Work and the other post office. Received my nice cycling jersey. Downtown, back and forth Vingio park, home. Rode around the block by night to test the lobster gloves before it got really cold. Ah, yes, fed the Pipe Dog in the morning. We are already friends, I can touch him without a fear to get bitten. |

| Comments: Day off at work today, rode to feed the Pipe Dog. Made a fenderless bike from my Trek 520, did not have much fun, got home early all muddy. Need to fix the winter beater before I can continue riding or buy another one. I don't tend to touch my Corra before the insurance agents come see it on Jan 2. |
