Comments: Checked the vicinities prior to going to the summerhouse in Rokantiskes. Made a couple of weird loops, slow Vingio and Sereikiskiu ride, traded evening "tea" for checking the geocache by night. Legs felt some hills after spending the whole month occassionally riding the extremely flat Baltic Sea coast.

Comments: Smelled the roses dust metric. Lots of single track and bad sandy gravel. Luckilly my bicycle wore 32mms today. Inspecting/repairing several geocaches after extensive rain over a week ago. Did some slow park ride, then rode to Skaistis kid campground, back and forth Trakai, toward Uzutrakis, stopped by Siemetis lake then refilled the water container in Vievis, checked the bridge near Paneriai. The bridge is under repair and my geocache may get destroyed soon. Slow ride in Dukstos Oakery and back home through Suderve. Slowly getting back into shape after the vacation.

Comments: Repairing geocaches again. Some Vingio Park ride then typical post office and the commute. One crazy stupid lady driver kept honking at narrow Raugyklos and finally happened to zip pass me to only get stuck a hundred meters further. Some more park ride, home, overwaited the rain and a bit more slow evening ride. It is amazing when you can interchange computer and bicycle several times throughout the day. Enjoyed the rain from the blue sky late in the afternoon. Lovely clouds.

Comments: Commute and the post office with load, then stopped at mom's and did Lentvaris-Trakai-Rykantai loop for a metric inspecting my old geocaches on the way. Spent about an hour slowly riding in Uzutrakis in search for a good hideout, but failed and came back to Vilnius, enjoyed a bit of Vingio Park lazy ride. Switched back to 23mm tires and experienced two flats.

Comments: Some Pavilniai geocaching early in the morning, two new founds, one of them FTF. Commute and the post office. Ended the working day early, then rode to Trakai, back and forth, swam in the lakes, could still not find a good geocache hide place in Uzutrakis. The right foot started feeling very unconfortable in a shoe, so decided to ride home. Fought some headwind on the way back and the foot started aching. Made it home slowly having a century under my belt.

Comments: Aimless back and forth Vilnius, tried to find good hid place for LMK geocache, but had no luck. The same in Valakampiai. Crowds of people everywhere. Revisited the Zalgirio Battle geocache and threw in my wooden nickel, stopped by the springs. Surprisingly, no mosquitos today. Rode out for half hour brain ventilation by night. The computer takes so much energy, bicycle definitely helps to restore it.

Comments: Had a day off today so presented myself with a light tour to Merkine and Druskininkai. Did some geocaching both hiding and seeking caches. Loved walking up the Merkine Hillfort, met a couple of cyclists from Japan, then rode to Druskininkai, luckilly found an internet so was able to download the coords for Liskiava Hillfort geocache. Rode back and firth Druskininkai, long time not been there, the city has changed significantly. Met a group of cyclists in Liskiava, enjoyed the exposure and the hillfort, found a geocache and headed home taking a bit different route through Vilkiautinis. Got caught by a heavy rain near Perloja, the shower was strong but short and I dried up before Valkininkai. Made it home before dark and rode downtown to hit the 300K. No aches, no pain, felt fresh after returning home.

Comments: Some geocaching followed by Seskuciai Bezdonys Nemencine Paazuole ride. Better part of the ride (timewise) went on sandy roads in woods. Plenty of streatches to walk the bike as 23mm tires did not want to tolerate the sand.
Enjoyed it a lot. GPS batteries died about an hour to home.

| Comments: Truly recreation ride on a bike path to Nemencine with occassional stops to watch the spiders building their webs. Millions of them - the sign of approaching fall. Then rode to Suzionys and a bit further North, hid a geocache at Suzionys hillfort, did not bother myself going on top of it as I knew what to expect there from what I read other people wrote and from my own experience last September. Punctured my front tire two times, thought I'd ride toward Danilava, but saw a road construction sign offering to take a detour and gave up with the idea. Back to Nemencine, then Azulauke and Riese. Road construction again. The rear tire went flat making it the third and the last puncture for today. Got home slightly after dark. Six new WWL squares for this year. Pretty good. |

| Comments: Typical commute and some Vingio park, got home did the computer homework and thought I'd ride to get a new tire and maybe a spare tube or two after a row of flats recently. The "snake" bite my front tire again when jumping on a sidewalk going downhill at 62 kph on Narbuto after some automoron decided to not leave me a space and hit the brakes. Luckily I managed to stay upright while crossing the grass and the pedestrian space at a significant speed, it took time to gently stop the bike with a flat front tube. After I stopped it finally, the rim was really hot, I could barely touch it :) Fixed the flat and broke the valve, so had to walk the bicycle home, just a couple of kilometers. Getting short of tubes, hope some LBS store them. |

| Comments: Much geocaching today. Checked Pilaite first, then rode to the Hill of 3 Crosses then Vingio Park. Plenty of Travel Bugs to play with. Then rode toward Maisiagala in hope to hide a TB Hotel cache, but ended up leaving the cache in so-so location and got back before the rain started. Great way to forget the computer for a while. |

| Comments: Some park ride in the morning after the night at a computer. Then back home. Broke the rear derailleur cable on the way to work, no big deal, but all the LBS closed today. Rode on the weird low-low combination. Got all soaked up on the way home, great but warm shower caught me. |

Comments: Spent half night at a computer, had a day off today. Rode to Suderve in the morning, hid a geocache there, then Putiniskes, took my unlisted cache and brought it to Alinavos Karciama for TB Hotel A2 cache, then Sirvintos and Sesuoleliai, back to Sirvintos, then Avizonys, inspected the 55N 25E Degree Confluence. Great fun. Hid a geocache in Kieliai. Back home. Some rain, but not much. Dried up before got home. It cleared up late in the afternoon so rode to Vingio Park after lunch. Saw someone has been inspecting one of the caches there without logging. Taking TB's GC's. Too bad. Rode to Frank Zappa monument, replaced missing container there. Back to Vingio Park, some relaxing circles there and home. Two flats today. Both within the first hour of a ride.
