| Comments: Saturday ride (partially with Karen P. and her friend, Jessica). Went ahead of them about 7 miles into the ride so I could get a better workout since I haven't been on the bike for so long. To the end of the path and back to Tienmu. Had two cars and a bus run a red light right at the start of our ride at school, and had plenty of traffic, people, and animals in our way the whole ride. The weather was good, which did help, but I haven't enjoyed a bike ride here recently. I'll see what happens on my solo Sunday tomorrow. |

| Comments: Beautiful morning...Karen P. and I headed out to Bali, over the red bridge, around the Archaeological Museum, stop for donuts, and back. Been awhile since we've done that route. Stopped at Giant on the way back...Karen bought a new saddle for her new bike and I had new ergonomic grips put on the Fuji. So nice to have the LBS handy. That is one thing I will miss when I return to the states in 34 days. |

So, I am now bikeless in Taipei and won't be on a bike until at least June 6th. Most likely not until June 11th...then I'll be pushing to get ready for my Tour de Nebraska that begins on June23. Yikes...!!! |

| Comments: Rode the old highway sort of with the Gothenburg group and back. Some of them went north to a nice hill at the Cozad road, but I went back into town. I was the slowest in the group, but I am starting to build up. |

Went solo out 47 for a bit, then back into the wind to go home. Just a wee bit frustrated with it last night and this morning I am thinking that I won't join them again. Been awhile since I outran a four legged pest. I think he won't actually go to the highway, but he sure is a streak going from his yard to the ditch by the highway. |
