Comments: Planned a century but the leader's bike broke, causing a really long delay on the start of the last 50. I went 20 more and called it a day for 60. It was a great ride and met some really nice new folks. NHP, aka "Trooper Dave" get's the quote of the day award after a few "rolled" a stop light. "I could so write a lotta tickets with this group."

Weather Conditions: Clear and cold to start. Warmed up nicely to high 50's and 60 by the time we got back to the shop. A truly beautiful day after about 11am. Perfect riding conditions.

Otherwise it was a really great Single Speed Sunday ride!

Weather Conditions: Clear and perfect for riding today. Started out about 53 degrees and warmed up to 60 by the time I stopped. Very little cloud, and virtually no wind. Like I said, perfect!

Roads are starting to retain the heat from the day now. Traffic was fairly lite both ways. Got chased by two different dogs on the way inside the "hood" area. I'll find a different detour next time around.

Comments: San Diego Century. Planned 67 miler ended up being almost 80. Followed the riders out of rest stop 3 and missed the turn towards the start. Climbed for about 10 miles before realizing we were on the wrong route. Tough ride.

Weather Conditions: Started out cool. Low 60's I'm guessing. A bit overcast for a longer time than expected. Stayed cool for most of the ride then the wind kicked up pretty good. Over all a nice day though.

Comments: Commute: Anthem to Nellis and over to Bobbie's school. OK. You will love this one. Flat in the AM. Hit a rock in the dark. No big deal. Quick change aroo and I'm on my way. Leaving the base, just outside the gate, "tick, tick, tick." Look down. YGBSM! A wire sticking out of the front tire. Extraction soon follows by the inevitable slow leak. Ok. No biggee. Quick change out number 2. Thank goodness for my Mini-Road Morph. Pump, Pump, Pump. On my way, but not so fast Buckwheat...YGBSM again! This can't be happening. Quick Air Force thinking works a reroute to the target area. Alternate target is Bobbie's school. I can make that easy by 16:30 TOT. Two more quick, "pump, pump, pumps!" and I'm there. Mission accomplished. Albeit in a round about way. Tires and tubes removed...awaiting new hardware.

Weather Conditions: Awesome. Very cool in the AM. High 40's but no wind. Very nice in the PM. Cool in the 70's no wind and clear. Perfect!
