You have a pretty nice collection too - we share some of the same tastes. My favorite these days might be my Moots, but my Vanilla is pretty nice too.

I've ridden several long distance rides with Mark_B. He's great in a pace line, always positive, and makes a pretty darned accurate map! He has recently relocated to Tennessee, and we Michigan riders will miss him.

Road bike
Description:  (In memorium) My first nice bike. A great, lightweight Tange cromoly frame, Shimano components. A sweet ride until the bike and I were crushed by a van going 60mph. The bike was folded in half, and the EMS unit that witnessed the crash said they thought they were just going to be picking up my pieces. Had to drop out of college for a semester due to various injuries -- hairline pelvis fracture, puncture wounds, and internal injuries that kept me in pain and in doctors offices for months. Injuries to pancreas and liver resulted in chemical imbalance in blood which lead to other nasty side effects. Pain in abdomen was significant for many months and still noticable years later, but gone by the mid 90's. Hip pain reoccurred sporadically until 2006, when it disappeared.
