John - it was great meeting you and riding with you, even with the spanking you gave me on the hills at Kensington. I hope to see you out there often. Right now I got to go to bed and rest, man you wore me out. Good on ya!

You can get in on the Triple Bypass this year if you contact me this weekend. I have a friend that is going to have to bail out of his registration and it's up for transfer. I also have a conflict that probably cause me to have to bail out as well. Let me know if oyu want one of these registrations for transfer before I put them back on Team Evergreen's site for their waiting list.

“Some people follow their dreams, others hunt them down and beat them mercilessly into submission.” - Neil Kendall

"The credit belongs to those who are actually in the arena, who strive valiantly; who know the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spend themselves in a worthy cause; who at the best, know the triumph of high achievement; and who, at the worst, if they fail, fail while daring greatly, so that their place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat." - Theodore Roosevelt

Road bike
Description:  This is my first road bike. Manufacturer was C.Itoh. This thing came with all kinds of bells and whistles (including dual healights, which I HATED as a young guy). Still hangs out in the garage. I got it for my birthday in the early to mid '70's. One of these days I'll take her up to the LBS for some tender lovin' care and see if I can get her back on the road. Don't think I'll be the one riding it though as it is a touch smaller than a normal road bike if I remember correctly. Also, the bike I took my first real spill on. OUCH!

Description:  This is the bike I started seriously road riding on. At that time it was Don's bike. This fall as he was trying to make some room in his basement, he graciously gave it to me as a birthday gift. A little bit of work and I hope to have this classic ready to ride by spring as a foul weather bike.
