Long time cyclist, now 57 years old, looking to get back in shape. Did about 3500 miles on my little Actionbent the first two years I had it, and then an idiot on a tractor ran over me and dislocated my knee! Took a long while to get back to the biking after that. Sold the Actionbent in favor of a new Cat Trike Trail from Atlantic Bikes in Margate, Florida. Traded the Catrike in October 2011 for a 2008 Bacchetta Corsa high-racer. The fellow who had the Corsa had a balance problem and couldn't ride any more, so we swapped dead even. He took the Trike, I took the Corsa. I then traded the Corsa to a friend from Belle Glade for a 2004 Strada, SN-0001, the very first production Strada built by Bacchetta that year. Have just purchased a Bacchetta Giro 26 to use as a commuter bike. The Strada has been doing the job, but the larger tires and rims on the Giro 26 will be better and tubes will be available at Walmart! |
