Just barely, I had about 10 minutes off the bike, plus a stop for a flipped SUV.

I bet you could shave hours off your centuries if you wanted to shell out for a carbon bike - it does make a big difference.

On the other hand, if I don't shell out for a carbon bike, I can keep telling myself I could shave hours off my centuries, without having my ego totally crushed when it doesn't turn out to be true
