a few days ago I passed the 10 year mark without missing a day it all started with a forum post of how many days can you ride this year my original goal was Forrests Gumps record of running somewhere around 1,100 plus days least amount in a day was 10k,average 33 plus miles aday,or 123,000 plus miles over the 10 year spell there may be others who have ridden longer, but what is there minimum per day,and were they all recorded on bike j or another forum

Congrats.!!! I can't imagine. Congrats.!!!
Think about this. Ride the best bike trail, named by Bicycling Magazine, in each state. Just one per week would be like a vacation. also you could throw in a trail or two you would think are better. So take a year off and challenge yourself to a bicycling vacation. Who knows, maybe a good book may come out of it.
Be safe.

Amazing!
I have one facebook friend in Wisconsin that has gone 5 years of everyday outdoor bike riding, and I know a couple others, including Slow_Moe that have done a whole year of riding outdoors every day.

As much as I love riding my bike, and I LOVE riding my bike more than anything, I can't even imagine the love it would take for me to accomplish such a feat.

Well done and congratulations!

Absolutely super human; both mentally and physically. Just thinking about your feat gives me a headache. The good Lord has blessed you with good health to do this feat. It seems to me like "Hall of Fame" to me; and I'm sure others as well.

Not to mention, the average miles per day.

Not to take anything away from his accomplishment, but not all the rides were outside according to his journal. Still much better than me.

I see. All rides logged as outdoor to avoid the indoor ride filter on the Total Distance Stats* leaderboard.

Certainly a great achievement. Just accounting for work, trips, weather, illness, and ennui make it seem supremely difficult.
