DID brought up in another post the loss of banter and comradery in the Journal. Let's use this thread for you to give an update to the community. It doesn't have to be daily but when you feel like you have something to say but it doesn't fit elsewhere. If it fails, well we tried!

Update #1 = I have been riding down here in Florida since February 1st and loving it. 2 things jump out at me - the weather has been close to perfect for riding and the motoring public is very respectful to cyclists.

Update #2 = While down here in Florida I bought a used Catrike tadpole trike to take back to Michigan to replace the trike I have been riding. It is a blast to zip around on.

Edit: I hope those storms in Texas don't move over to Florida.

Glad to hear you are having a good time during our winter here in Florida George. Another new bike.!!?? Someday before I turn 90 years old I might get a new bike.
We got a new cyclist joining in on the Quarters Challenge - So Did did good. I hope to get my first Quarter in sometime this week since trying to build my base miles back up.

The only problem is your bottom will be riding in the snow - you will need to attach a plow.

Sorry, GWM, looks like we get the rain Wednesday or Thursday, but it won't last long - it rarely does,

I may just have to do a rain ride those days. I hate being down here and wasting a day not riding.

Grrrr, my bike computer (Lezyne) lost my ride today. Who is to blame... firmware update done not too long ago? Putting the computer through two bike crashes at the end of last year? Random fluke?

The "grrrr" is that I don't get my Strava credit, LOL. I know exactly where I turned and thus re-created the ride on RideWithGPS site so I could record miles and elevation here. I even know more or less what my average speed was, so even my time will be close to accurate within a minute.

I'll have to use the phone as a backup Strava recording device the next few rides.

I feel like I have something to say, but as soon as I think about saying it I forget it. Therefore I have nothing to say at this moment lol

ps....That's something RD would have posted
