Capejohn, your previous video inspired me to get out for a little bike ride today. Hadn't been out since May. Thanks!

Hmmm, was going to post a photo via flickr, but can't unless I upgrade to a $$$ plan. Grrrrrrrr.

I took a leisurely ride into the city of New Bedford, MA. and Fort Tabor for the annual triathlon. I did a video that included my neighbor Shaunda. She is the one with the green handlebar tape at the intro frame. She ran 1.5 miles. Biked a fast 12, then ran a 5K.

Thanks for the kudos russtaitai. One ride leads to another, then another and when you finally are in the zone after many rides. It snows.

capejohn I like the blacktop painted bike path. The ones around here are hard to see in the dark early morning especially where the sides meet the dirt. I should write the county bike path Presidente and persuade him to paint the edge white

Heres a couple photos from yesterdays ride.

When your cycling you see things that other times you wouldn't notice. This is one of those things. I think its way cool.

This is a popular ride for our group. The base ride is 16 miles, but if itís a nice day, some of the riders like to continue on to add a few miles, and we did that.

We started with 12 riders but on the third head count, we had 10. The two missing were new to the ride and we had made multiple turns during this narrated ride through the historic district of Fairhaven. I was about to turn back, but those who knew the lost couple, assured me that they would be OK because one was a long time, avid rider. My sincere apologies to both.

Iíll be on the road with the band for two months making this the last ride Iíll be leading this year. There will be videos of our travels, and there will surely be a few bike adventures during our adventures.

We had some great turnouts for many and there were a couple of group rides I did solo. Till next year.

Healthy days.

1st Time on the Jane Addams Trail. Very nice.
I was going to take a short road ride into Cedarville to see the Jane Addams home and burial site, but it was too nice riding in the shade. Maybe some other time.
Mosquitoes were ferocious in the shade if you stopped.

Things got pretty in a hurry...

Cool old metal building...

Trains didn't like to climb over hills so they had to blast their way through them...

Neat little covered bridge...

Road crossing. Vast farmland...

Trail ends ahead...

Coming back...
