Join the "Coffeeneuring Challenge"

SLURP PRIZES TO CAPE JOHN, HIGHFLYER AND COUNSULARRIDER

NEW END DATE: DECEMBER 31

LET'S KEEP THE CHALLENGE GOING FOR US UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR. BUT THE "ONLY 2 A WEEK" RULE STAYS IN EFFECT TO KEEP A BIT OF A CHALLENGE.

SLURP UP!!!!

Click here to go to cofeeneuring official rules.

You'll follow the official rules. This one is important: Only 1 coffee shop per day counts and a maximum of two rides per week qualify. As the challenge kicks off on Friday, the week is considered Friday through Friday.

Who's up for a coffeeneuring challenge? Join with a simple post: "I'm in"

Follow the rules on the Cofeeneuring Challenge site.
Challenge runs from October 13 to November 19
POST THE FOLLOWING HERE. YOU MUST GO TO 7 DIFFERENT COFFEENURING PLACES IN 6 WEEKS.

POST THE FOLLOWING FOR EACH COFFEENEURING STOP:

  • Where you went. Address and website if possible
  • Date you went there
  • What you drank (description of unusual drink welcomed)
  • Detail or two about your coffeeneuring ride.
  • Total mileage of the ride
  • OPTIONAL: Photo of the place or of you and your drink

I'll create a simple spreadsheet here of challenge participants.

As MG says in the offical challenge: "Seven shops in six-ish weeks. You can do it!"

How have I never heard of this! Living in Traverse City, this should be doable except for the very real possibility of a blizzard sometime during the 6 weeks. TC has great cycling and coffee. Count me in!

Joe - I read through some of the comments and the rules. I think if we provide the link to this thread, it may count as an official site.

Rule 13: Submissions. Send all qualifying rides when you’ve finished the Coffeeneuring Challenge to me at gersemalina "at" gmail.com by November 30. If you complete the challenge as a group, you may provide one submission for all of you, provided you completed all rides together. Submissions may be in the form of links to blog writeups, Instagram account, screenshots of or links to your coffeeneuring Tweets, Strava, on-line photo galleries with accompanying narrative, Word documents with attached or embedded photos, or e-mail writeups and submissions with photos attached.

Am I reading this correctly?

After rereading, maybe we only need to e-mail the thread to the address given after the challenge is complete.
