Heat index was well into miserable and pretty much took the day off with a low mileage low effort ride. Had two fairly good days of climbing and wanted to nurse my legs that have only recently returned from the dead. Rode into the wind on the highway out of Watkins and really soft pedaled the climb. Did okay on the flats and on the easy climb over the hill from Lakemont to Dundee. Caught a tailwind up the climb out of Dundee and milked that climb too. Coated much of the downhill back to Watkins. Didn't really feel like riding in the heat but compromised by taking it easy. Wasn't much fun but got some miles and burned some calories.
