 Dahon Cadenza -vs- EG Zurich
Today's rides were contrasting examples of speed, illustrating the obvious benefit of electric assisted cycling. First ride around the block was on the Dahon commuter. The 2nd ride was on the EG Zurich using electrical assistance. The Dahon is a 32-pound folder with 26-inch wheels. The EG is a 57-pound bike with 700c wheels, a 350-watt front hub motor powered by a 36 volt Lithium Ion battery. Riding both bikes using a moderate amount of effort, the difference in travel time is significant. The EG Zurich is a great commuting bike.
