After two frigid days in a row, it warmed up into the forties today. Looks like it will be the last above freezing day in the next two weeks. Felt fairly good at the start with a strong tailwind and bright sunshine. Quickly found that the legs didn't have much in as soon as I hit the climb. I kind of expected it, as I was brutalized on the trainer yesterday. So spun up the climb aided by the headwind. Typical warm winter ride as I was overdressed on the climb and cold on the return descent into the headwind. State roads were fairly clean for winter, but the secondary roads were still grit covered. Didn't spot anything of interest today, no cyclists, joggers, turkeys nor bigfoots today. Had a good low intensity spin day with only a two mile climb into the wind that gave me some minor grief. Not a bad ride today. Hopefully the ground hog will deliver good tidings tomorrow.
