Disappointing March weather continues. Have not seen the sun in two weeks and today was no exception. The wind wasn't blowing very hard today, so I attempted a short ride on the mountain bike. Found out quickly that the North wind wasn't blowing hard, but it was still bitter. Legs felt stiff for the first couple of miles and had the only highlight of the day when I watched some icicles fall from high up on the cliffs along the Rock Cabin road. Returned from Watkins on the Catherine trail which was mostly snow and ice free. Legs finally loosened up and riding got a little more pleasant, but my hands were getting cold so I headed to the barn. A pretty lame ride overall. Forecast only has two days in the next two weeks with a high near forty. Unfortunately rain and high winds are expected to accompany the 'warm' weather. I might try to get out on the mountain bike but looks like the road bike will remain on the trainer until April.
