 Interlaken Spin
Legs still felt heavy but once I got them spinning, they felt decent. Another long low intensity Wednesday ride today. It was overcast but with little chance of rain and another blessed day of manageable wind made for a good riding day. There are really no hills on the course though there is a good bit of climbing. The only out of the saddle section is a short stretch out of Watkins to keep on SR 414. Staying on SR 79 would be a climb, but going out on SR 414 is just long grades. Had a south wind and consequencely a fairly easy run to Ovid. The second section into the wind and up out of Interlaken was a bit more strenuous but didn't put much effort into and just went slower. Opted not to do the bonus climb through Steamburg out of Trumansburg and went the rolling Perry City Reynoldsville route instead. Fairly serene day on the bike. Saw zero other riders out today. Sixty easy miles.
