 Rain Shortened Ride
Weatherman let me down again as we had a long group ride planned in the morning before showers that were predicted for the afternoon. Rain didn't cooperate though as it rained heavily throughout the night and was still raining when the ride was supposed to start. Cancelled the ride but Mighty Young Joe and I did get out for a shorter ride during a three hour window between rain storms. We got forty five easy miles in with a climb up New Odessa and then up the twisting Swartwood hill. Not much excitement today as just spun my tired legs easily on the climbs and cruised the downhills. Only excitement was when Joe's water bottle popped out on a downhill and disappeared into the twilight zone. Had some easy miles and we did get back before it rained again.
