 Roaring Run
Took a long slow ride for a brief foray into Pennsylvania. Planned on riding at a decent pace but it is getting late in the season and the legs are getting tired. Couldn't develop much speed on the upgrade to Millport into the wind and just spun it out. That set the stage for the rest of the day. Last time I rode the course I was hitting all the short climbs fairly hard but today was content just to roll over them. Had a pleasant ride to PA and the climb up through the roaring run hollow seems quite a bit shorter and less steep than it used to be despite my lack of effort. Once I reached the top of the climb at Bird Creek, I pretty much went into coast mode and took it easy down through Mosherville. Temperatures are getting much cooler and think that has a lot to do with the lack of intensity as it is another indication to my body that the season is winding down. Continued coasting with a decent tailwind down SR 14 to finish off the ride. Not a bad ride on the bike despite the lack of intensity.
