 Back to Climbing
Rode out to Arnot forest today to do some more climbing. Legs weren't as empty as they were yesterday but had no snap. I was able to climb steadily but average speed was down considerably from the last time I rode this course. Havana Glen climb was decent though far below my best. The steep sections of the Arnot climb also went well but didn't put too much effort into the approach, so the legs were relatively fresh. Spun most of the rollers and short climbs around Trumble's Corners. Finished off with a strong section downhill with a tailwind between Smith Valley and Odessa but the effort was too late to bring the ride into the win column. Still better riding than yesterday and a little bit warmer,
