Comments: Split Ends solo. HR was way high today. I am hoping it is a glitch. I did wash the belt yesterday, so maybe it wasn't dry? I felt fine and I wasn't pushing it. I will keep an eye on it.
This was to be a recovery ride, so it was casual most of the way. I feel good. |

Still had to baby my left quad. If feels like I could easily push too hard and have it cramp. Other than that it was a good workout. |

| Comments: Club ride Split Ends. Several riders in varied speed groups. I started the ride thinking I would go easy, but i just seemed to roll easy. I did use some power, but not all out. Well, there may have been a traffic light I hustled to make. Left quad still a little sore, but otherwise I feel great. |

Comments: Club ride to Lake Las Vegas. New HR meter, but still using old strap gave intermittent readings as the old one did. I will try the new strap.
I climbed the steep hill at Lake Las Vegas today. Legs did OK, but I couldn't get enough air. I was huffing and puffing through open mouth. I need to do it more.
Mostly casual for the rest of the ride. |

| Comments: Solo to Red Rock Canyon. Standard effort on the way uphill, but decided to do less coasting on the way back. I also had a young asian challenger on the downhill. He was beating me, but finally broke off. Probably out of respect for an old man.
One of my shifter batteries came off somewhere. Good that I carry a spare. |
