| Comments: Split Ends ride to check adjustment I had made. I finally silenced the noise from my headrest. New seat cushion feels so much better. Most of my ride was casual, but I chased another rider up Raiders Way. I think he could have dropped me if he wanted. |

| Comments: Split Ends club ride. Five of us did the extended route. Seemed like we were really hitting it hard at first, so I am surprised my solo ride yesterday was faster. I did back off today to stay with a slower rider, but i didn't think the overall would be slower. Had I not slowed, I could have pulled a muscle. |

| Comments: Ragbrai 2025 pri-ride to dip tire in the Big Sioux River. After driving 300 miles to the park, I pitched my tent and then started a loop to the river and then out to Orange City and back. This was to ride from edge of state to edge of state. Coming out from the river was a steep 125 grade. It was tough. Then heading East to Sioux Center was against a 12 mph wind. Lots of hills |
| Weather Conditions: Warm and breezy. The winds were ENE, so there were a few miles going out that had a tailwind. Coming back was much easier with the winds. |

| Comments: Day three of Ragbrai 2025. Estherville to Forest City. Tried to conserve energy to last the distance, but winds still were a big issue. Part of the loop was with the wind and a slight down grade. That was fun! I was getting tired by mile 90, so I was glad to finish. |

Comments: To Mountain's Edge Park. Moderate effort. I had problems with HR monitor, new tailbag, and tried bike stand system for when there is nothing to lead against.
HR monitor wasn't reading, so I had to re-pair it. Tailbag sagged into my rear wheel, so I had to try a zip tie to keep the bag away from the tire.
I used cord and two stakes to prop up my bike. It slipped and fell the first time, but I got it the second. Had to straighten the steering and left brake lever. |
