| Comments: In my mirror, I saw a stealth rider pouring it on behind me... Seeing my speed was averaging under 12 mph I hammered the pedals cruising for a distance at 15 mph and Staying ahead. I dismounted from my steed at Washington Street lift bridge, there I toasted the hound as he passed. |

Comments: Sunday: A ride around Syracuse and the Onondaga Lake...
Another Corp of Codger's er Cadre's ride, First time with Mike, and Rick. Bob and I met up at Mike's home, then the 4 of us caravaned over to the ride start.
Rick's vintage rear tire flatted along the route. We felt lucky for the occurrence to have happened conveniently near Dick's storefront at Destiny Mall. Unfortunately Dicks had a half-assed inventory with no tires and only one sized tube close to what Rick needed. Mike came to the rescue with a 1.25x27.5 tube in his kit. I had a CO2 cartridge to fully inflate the tire.
After the ride back at Mike and May's home, we drank IPA's, ate potato chips, and homemade Pizza.
All in all, it was a great adventure day!
