I grew up in North Platte, NE and owe thanks for any fun and success I have in the sport to George and Patty Evans and my Dad. I started racing when I was in high school back in the late 80's and continued until I graduated high school in 1990. I then had to hang the bike up for a while as I'd joined the Navy. Unfortunately during these times, both my road bike and mountain bike were stolen. Since then something has been missing in my life, my outlet for fun and fitness. That all changed in 2006 as I went to my first RAGBRAI with my Dad and the rest of the Cycle Sport team and I had a blast, hardly able to wait until this year's ride.
Now I'm in veterinary school at Kansas State University and ride with the collegiate team. |
