2008 Odometer: 1,669 miles.
2009 Odometer: 2,340 miles

Spent a year commuting on a bike that was too small. Bought a new one, and trained up for my first century ride in 2008. To say that I've become obsessed would be an understatement.

Loose Plan for 2010: 3(+?) Centuries (100 Miles of Nowhere, 2010 Philly LiveStrong Challenge, 2010 AIDS Ride for Life).

Touring Road bike
Description:  My wife lent me use of her credit card to secure my "Long Haul Tractor" — Green with Yellow bar tape, bottle cages.

Have the current set up with Salsa S&S drops with a Terry Liberator Y saddle. Like it that way so far!

Usually also roll with my Jandd Trunk bag and sometimes with a handle-bar bag as well.

Cyclocross Road bike
Description:  She has problems with the rear brifter chewing through cables. Two last year, so she's sitting on a hook until I can afford to replace the brifters that she came with for something else...maybe some Barcons...damnit.

Traded out the stock stem for a 2mm shorter one at a 30° angle. Shimano SPD pedals. Selle AnAtomica, bright yellow. Totally clashes with everything, and I love it! Added rear rack for commuting. Rack moved to touring bike.

12-28 10-sp 105 cassette.
34x50 SRAM cranks

Planet Bike Fenders. Red Cork handlebar tape.

Noticed that the front fork has a chip in either the paint or in the carbon. Going to get it checked out at some point, but until then "the seagull" has landed.

other Borrowed or Rented
Road bike
Description:  This is any bike I rent, borrow, or try out at a bike shop.

Lifetime Odometer: 2.5 miles

1990 Shogun Sport
Road bike
Description:  This was my first "adult" bike after I outgrew my two previou bikes. I believe it's a 12 speed, but my memory is fuzzy (so is the bike, with cobwebs in my car port).

Maybe this year she'll get updated in some way... or donated to a recycling program for wayward bikes...
FLASH! Sold to the awesome folks up at Mello Velo in Syracuse.

Lifetime Odometer: 100.0 miles
