Began club riding after heart surgery in Dec 2000. I ride with the Sarasota Manatee Bike Club in Florida and biked +over 40,000 miles since 1st heart surgery.
Can no longer keep up with slow club ride due to CHF with resultant breathing problems.Met my goal of 40k around Christmas 2016
My new goal is 1000 mi per year but would prefer 1200, if health holds out. Summer riding if Hot, Hot, hot! converted recumbent to E bike pedal assist Oct 1, 2017 |

Description: Just added pedal assist to my old tour easy. 36 volts, 500 watt battery and motor in rear hub. Thick 700cx35 Schwalbe tire and tube. requites bike shop rear tire change at Electric Bike Depot. Tube is thorn resistant, extra thick.
