Started out at 429 pounds and on an old Trek Mountain bike I spent about $200 to make comfortable to ride. I then bought an Electra Townie which was much, much less painful. Rode it until I quit riding in 2010. "retired" to Florida to manage a motel for my brother and found this place much, much more cycling friendly and bought myself a mountain bike. The first ride I discovered I could no longer peddle because of my arthritic knees. Now I am about to have Knee surgery and decided to build myself a Tour Easy clone. |
