I began riding and commuting steadily before the birth of my first daughter 33 years ago in an effort to get rid of a three pack a day habit.
I have been riding recumbents for the last 18 years, exclusively for the last 11 years if you inculde a roughly nine year hiatus.
I completed an 1800 mile tour, from Florence, OR to Dillon, CO, on the trans-America route in june-july of 2003 in celebration of my 50th b-day. I own too many bikes of every kind. I have recently retired and reacquired my need to cycle
Fire interrupted my return to cycling with the burning of the house and outbuilding in july of 2020. back at it here in 2022. |
