2007 goals:
Made my 3k mile year in 2006 with quite a bit to spare. Also started commuting to work regularly in 2006. 2007 goals are to do more road races and a couple of offroad ones too. I want to complete 100 commutes to work (see Commuter Cycling Century Club).
2006 Goals etc:
Rode 2,336.88 in 2005. My main goal for 2006 is to race. I did my first off road race in July 05. I would like to do more of the DINO (Do Indiana Offroad) series this year and compete in a time trial. Other goal is to get more miles logged with the kids. Last year I started taking my oldest son, Jack, out on rides after work. I would like to get more miles logged with the boys in tow. It remains to be seen how all those goals will mesh, but I'll manage to have fun while doing it.

Began riding in college to get to class and work. Started again in 1998. Have upgraded from hybrid to road bike. Purchased mountain bike 2004 and have gone off road several times.

Description:  This is a "new to me" bike that I put new wheels and handlebars on. The guys as the shop thought it was circa 1986-1989. Steel. It has a new cassette on it as well. 8 speed with triple. Friction shifting that is SMOOOOOTH! I have it decked out with fenders and a rack. It is going to be my commuter bike. Also think it has a Brooks saddle on it. Comfy.
