I just started my 4th cold of 2018. I've never had that many in one year. 2 came from grandkids. 1 from a daughterninnlaw, not the mom of the contagious grandkids. And 1 random one. Every time, it's at least 10 days off the bike. They go to my chest and make me miserable.

And I'm not good at inactivity.

I thought I was going to read about the newest and greatest diet of just 4 foods and how it was going to ...

Sorry about the colds, same thing happened to me when I first became a teacher - I was sick all the time. But as time goes on you build up your immune system and the colds decrease dramatically. Did you get your flu shot this year?

That's only two since low carb pretty much requires no grains, which already includes wheat.

I suppose you can be low carb, but not truly "no wheat, no grains" if you eat protein like seitan made from refined gluten and you eat the fiber and fat from grains, but leave out the starch and sugars.

I had so many colds when I was a kid that I hardly get any now. They were New Zealand colds, but I guess my immune system works on ones in the US as well.
