We rode up and all around Table Rock to start the New Year

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

To install a picture on Bike Journal first save your photo to a file sharing site such as PhotoBucket. Once there copy the HTML Code. Then on Bike Journal Paste that code. It will contain a long script that will end with

"Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" />

Insert the phrase width=55 after Photos" and before /> to make it look like this

"Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" width=550 />

That phrase will make your photo the correct size for the format. Once you finish the entry you should have your picture installed and correctly sized.

Today 5 of us started the New Year by riding up and around Table Rock.

Here Becky and Karen are working their way up one of the hills

Soapstone Baptist Church - Soapstone is a church started by freed slaves in the 1860s. They later found a slave cemetary on the property and it is now a historical area.

The church got it's name because there is soapstone on the property. There was once a mine on the property. There is still a large soapstone outcropping by the church building

I rode a very short ride today. I was sick all night last night and long into the morning. I missed the First 50 ride from Furman to Table Rock and back, but my friend Steve wanted to make a short ride. This is his first time on the bike since he fell and broke his hip and had it replaced in September.

Elissa, Steve, and Tom that I rode with today in front of the Reedy River Falls and Liberty Bridge

Cato is giving the greetings and instructions for the Spinners Sunday ride. Cato is the new leader. The past leader, Ken, is in the red listening. Ken started this ride and has led it for the last three plus years.

Today my bike broke down and I was walking it to the LBS along Falls Park. I stopped and shot a picture of the ducks above the falls. They all have their heads under water about 30 feet above the falls.

Rode to Jacksonville today and my camera begged me to go...so I took it

The main purpose of my ride today was to pick up my order at the Bike Shop. You'll never guess whats in the bag....good guess but it was some innertubes. I'm trying out these extra thick tubes to help with flats. Last time I tried these they worked pretty good on my old Trek...we'll see.

I was going to guess a bike for the Geico Gecko.

I'm glad to see my favorite thread around for another year. Very nice pics everyone - although at least one shot was a turkey!
