I have fenders and it rained this morning.

It rained this morning and and its much cooler and more comfortable.

I got my new jersey from my LBS.

I have new Pearl Izumi gloves to use.

I have a three day weekend.

I have a desk full of treats to eat.

What are you glad about today? Just pick one thing that makes you happy today and tell us about it.

I am happy because:

I have a wonderful wife and 3 awesome kids.

My knee is getting MUCH better.

My wife won tickets to the Family Values Tour concert from a radio station.

My new cycling shorts came in yesterday.

I live in a country where I am allowed to be happy for whatever reason I choose.

Patrick single 0 7 -

I am extremely happy - six months ago, a doctor said the discs in my
neck were damaged and I will have to give up biking. The pain and sorness
throughout my neck, upper back and shoulder confirmed it was a major probelm.

My wife had me take Glucosamine & Chondroitin 3 x daily and
over the past five months I have been able to stay with biking.

Next week I will join some experienced touring cyclists and
ride 625 miles through parts of Ontario & Manitoba Canada
That's what I am glad about- thanks for asking Patrick !

I'd say that sounds like you're feeling much better! Beating the odds is always exciting.

I am happy because my little boy is so excited to see me at the end of the workday and because I have a wife that renews my faith in marriage. I am happy because I was on-bike tonight and was able to wonder at the sheer power of nature as I outran a thunderstorm. I am happy because I have the strength and the courage of my convictions. I am very happy to have such a great place to come and post with people that share the same interest in cycling.

I'm happy that I have only 16 days before I go back to the dorms and get back to working on my bachelors degree.

I'm happy that I have a plan for my future, and I can follow that plan to completion.

I'm happy that my tires are still in true.

I'm happy to have a place to log my rides with.

Sounds like its all about family, friends, vacations, achievements, cycling, chocolate mini-donuts, and one case of secret butt-scratching from this group.

Thanks for reminding me not to take everyday things for granted.
