Oh, I could just DIE.....DIE!....from the humutilation! I accidentally mistyped some mileage in my journal and suddenly I shot up to #1 of Bike Journal! Then my phone just started ringing off the hook: Lance; Jahn; Greg; Floyd; Kincannondale; HRLaughed......EVERYONE wanted my training tips, autograph (HR [such a punk] was holding out a blank check), photo-ops, etc.

When I realized I had made a typo I feared the worst. Yes...
...the MODERATORS showed up at my door with Federal Marshalls and some Canadians. We are on our third pitcher of Pomegranate Martinis and having quite a fun party. They gave me keys to various cities, a HUGE TROPHY, a darling sash, tiara, gift certificate to Tutus4U and a Brand, Spanking, New Krate.

I am NOT #666.......I AM NUMBER ONE. Don't know how to do a screen shot, however, so it'll just be my word against all y'all's! I'll take off the *accidental* miles in a bit. How about if I take a photo with my camera of my screen? Will the glare obliterate my #1 status? I wonder if the 1-hour film developers are open? Do they still take film from Brownie cameras?

PUBLIC NOTICE: Based on tips from bikejournal members across the USA, Bikejournal Anti-Doping Agency (BJADA) agents from our West Coast office arrived at Mrs. Palmetto's Sacramento residence tonight at 8:43PM PST. All bicycles and spare tires on the premises where seized for immediate forensic testing. Our BJADA lab technicians will perform a throughout analysis of tread wear and cross reference this information with purchase receipts to determine total mileage. Until a final ruling is made in this case, all bulk miles for Mrs. Palmetto will be black listed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we pursue truth and justice in this matter.

I don't want your secret training tips, but can you share the Pomegranate Martini recipe?

I believe it is a federal offense to tamper with the mileage in your bike journal. And for that mistake to have propelled you to the top of the chart only adds insult to injury. No one on this forum in their right mind (perhaps a limited number of people) would believe that this was an inadvertent mistake. No. This "mistake" can't simply be handled at the "moderator" level. This mistake will require a visit from the Pomeranian Police department, whose agents are specially trained in Pansy Slappin' avoidance techniques. Said agents are masters in bringing the criminal Pansies to justice. Let justice be done.

Pom Marts ARE my training secret! I called my elderly baby sister JUST NOW and ska-wheezed the recipe out'n her:

1-1/2 Cups of 100% PURE Pomegranate Juice
4 shots of vodka (citron flavor)
2 ounces of Coin treau (pronounced Quantro, but idiot EBS mispronounced
it as "Coin True" up until very recent times
Fresh Limes
Fresh Pomegranate

You squeeze the lime's juice INTO the glass you are going to drink from; and you can toss in a few of the pomegranate "seeds" (if you want to for panache')

Then, in a shaker filled with ice, put in all the other ingredients (pom juice/vodka/coin treau) and (I guess) shake it.

Pour over glass with lime squeezings/pomegranate seeds

SERVES TWO (which explains why EBS and I get a bit tipsy since we thought it served ONE)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Pansy, I enjoyed the phone chat. You are too funny! I'm sorry I had trouble hearing you with so much noise at your party there. Thanks for the training tips, I'll have to try holding the "4" key down too long trick myself sometime.

I hope Haroldold, Brinehawk, and bikenut have recovered from the shock.

(I can't believe you put me in that list with Lance and the boyz, lol!)

Ms. Palmetto:

We're sorry to inform you that due to information gleaned after our previous meeting of 22 November 2006, we have no choice but to stop payment on the eight million dollar check as downpayment on the pro athlete endorsement deal. As our reliable sources tell us, you misplaced a decimal point, thereby rendering your 0.42 mile ride into a 42,000 mile ride. While we are sure this error could happen to any cyclist and megacorp providing financial assistance to support said cyclist's worthy athletic endeavors, we regret especially that it happened to us. And please stop sending us pictures of frilly tutus and lime-green leotards and polka-dotted underthings asking if we think they clash. They do.

What? Pansy had a party and I wasn't invited?! Just for that I'm posting 50,000 miles just to get ahead of you!

And no Vegas stories either! (I just got back)
