I visited the HOF thread as I was going to create new images because PhotoBucket had blocked all the photos I and others used from the photobuccket site. Photobucket had a new exorbitant fee policy for sharing photos.

The photos are back??? Huh?

I even went back to some 2016 and 2017 threads and all my photos show as does everyones.

Any idea why the photobucket photos now show?

UPDATE: Found this on the photobucket website: "For a limited time, our current customers’ hosted images have been restored and Photobucket is introducing a new pricing plan that is built around everyone’s needs."

So now I think that for $29.99 or $69.99 annually you can have your shared photos wherever they appear. Doesn't say when the current temporary allowed sharing will end.

The $29.99 annual plan gives you storage for about 400 photos
The $69.99 annual plan gives you storage for about 4000 photos.

From the website:
When you upgrade your plan, you gain the following benefits:

3rd Party Image Hosting: Link the photos you have uploaded to Photobucket to your forums, blogs or other websites for viewing.

No Advertisements: Enjoy an ad free Photobucket experience as long as you are logged into your Plus account.

Too late, I don't use it anymore. They shot themselves in the foot over this.

Google Photo is free and easy and may be a viable option.

I don't think I have mastered putting images from either Google Photo or imgbox on BikeJournal. I know it can be done with imgbox but I'm not sure it can with Google Photo.

I tried out several picture hosting sites, and ended up using IMGUR. I still have stuff on Photobucket, but I never refer to it anymore - and I never did use it as primary storage.

After all these years, why is this still the only form I know of that doesn't provide users with a button for linking to offsite pictures? I can never remember the arcane code; so I have to keep referring back to the tips&tricks thread from 12 years ago, which I've saved as a favorite.
