Hey, glad to see your logging miles this year. I'd like to invite you to join our club, River to River cycling. We're on bikejournal just go to the club tab and choose view clubs then scroll down the list until you see us, we shouldn't be far. Congrats on Sesser basketball!

Hi! We have spoken before. I once lived up in Effingham and since then my travels have brought me down to Carterville. I had lived in Missouri for 14 months but recently moved back and had rejoined the River-to-River club. I have some questions.

Is the club still in existence? I have noticed that I am the only member that has included my mileage for this year. It leads to to think that the club doesn't exist anymore. If the club does exist, who is the leader?

I recently had a crash and burn experience that left me with a cracked bone in my shoulder, but have started biking again. Where I was in Missouri was full of hills, so this area seems flat in comparison.

I also love my Trek 7200, trying to ride more, right now about 400-500 per year. We go to Rend Lake with friends for a long weeked every year and would love to take bikes along and ride trail. They have family in Sesser. Is the trail easy to follow, and well marked?

I have been riding seriously since 2004 and have made great improvements on my trainer and on the road. Try to ride at least 1000 miles every year. I usually spend more time on the trainer than I do the road.

Description:  This bike has 700c x 28 inch wheels and is a very good bike. I have ridden a three day trip from Sesser to Metropolis Illinois on this bike. Lots of hills and I carried about 50 lbs of weight in my bags. As I said good bike, very strong, durable frame, I have ridden in 30 mph winds with this bike, lightning, rain, and even hail. I'm sure it has over 2500 miles by now. Sadly to say my speedometer is worn out and I need a new one but someday I might take my charts from this bike and add them up.
