History:

2014 - Bought a Ice Recumbent Trike from Hampton Edge Trail Bike shop in Floral City. Due to a bike accident that took a long to time to heal I decided to go with a three wheel recumbent.

The ICE is a Adventure FS HD with several upgrades. Decided to go with Big Apple Schwaube tires and full suspension on all three wheels. The extra large seat is very comfortable and the Trike rides smooth. Still working on getting my legs strong again but quite happy with the new trike.

In March 2006 Poweron Cycling built a custom Rans formula V2 for me. Tail Sock and Fairing helps my speed when the wind is blowing from behind. Highest mph per hour has been 32 mph downhill.

New goal of 7,000 miles this year. Laid up for 6 weeks in Feb/March. Did Tour of Sebring n Sept and December tour did 154 miles in 3 days. Been trying to average two days a week at 50 to 60 miles and then 1 day at 30 - 35 miles.
Missed my 2006 goal by 420 miles. Will try for 7000 in 2007
Started biking seriously November of 2004. Bought a recumbent bike to eliminate neck and back pain.

Met a nice group of people in the Sarasota Manatee Bicycle Club which has organized rides almost everyday of the week.
