Distance: 22.84 miles Category: training: general - solo Altitude Gain: 680 ft
Time: 01:50:17 Avg Speed: 12.43 mph Max Speed: 0.00 mph
Terrain: Road: Hills Bike: Giant OCR 3 Road
Weather Conditions: 60°, clody, some mist, some spitting rain, some wind. Had to add my arm warmers underneath my light windbreaker at Guandu. Knickers continue to be well worth the money spent, as they cover the knees and keep me warm enough.
Ride Description: Solo Sunday am. First up nearly to Flying Squirrel Bridge until the spitting rain and wet roads made me decide to turn around and go back downhill. Not too many riders out that way this morning. Next, over to the bike path via Tienmu Rd., and then past Veteran's Hospital. Oh yeah, the joys of that busy area will never cease. Out to Guandu, stopped to phone mom and dad and found out they are getting snow once again. Sat a bit, then turned around and basically came on home. Good effort going up the hill. Hoping next Sunday the roads will be dry, but I surely won't hold my breath.
