Today I rode to the tennis courts at Cleveland Park to meet Don H and Ken for a ride up and down the trail. We took off and had a discussiion about yesterday’s ride. When we were above Falls Park we ran into Lynda M and her grandson MIchael and stopped to chat with them. Once we were outut riding, I realized that I was underdressed for the weather. It was in the low 50s, but the wind had a serious bite to it and I was feeling it. I had a long-sleeve t-shirt in my pannier, so I stopped at the Cafe to put it on. I wished that I had my lower Underalls and my riding jacket as well. We rode on up the trail and talked about this and that. We got off at Furman to ride around the lake then rode on to Travelers Rest. We turned around across from Sunrift Outfitters and headed to the Treehouse for a snack, but they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. So we went to Upcountry Provisions for a snack. I had an Upcountry (turkey and cranberry chutney minus the havarti in a wrap) with chips and a pickle spear. When we finished and went outdoors, I reallly felt the cold. We rode back down the trail, still kicking around a couple of conversatiions. We dropped Ken off at the tennis courts while Don and I rode back to Laurens Road where we went opposite ways. I climbed the big hill to get home.
