Weather Conditions: Bloody heck...windy windy windy once again. Oh wait, this is Taiwan, when isn't it? Temp was nice...low 70's to start, high 70's to finish up. Almost needed arm warmers while riding in the wind along the ocean.
Ride Description: Saturday morning solo again...Karen J. where are ya? Karen P. should be back next week. Since I was alone and had my iPod, I decided to take it to the streets and headed for Jinshan via the coast road. Super super windy, but a fantastic ride anyway. Saw a gorgeous field of yellow flowers. (see photo) Stopped at Sean's to have him tighten my crank arms since they were creaking something awful. He took care of that, then adjusted my headset (must have gotten slightly out of whack when I fell a couple weeks ago) and noticed the the fork seemed off. He ended up replacing the fork with a better carbon one, and charged me just for the extra $ difference from the one he put on last year. Said the other one was lower quality. Chinese knock-off? Who knows, but I do feel better now.
