Ride Description: BYFBTT VI Test riding and racing.
Wow! We sure know how to make lemonade!
15 Inches of snow fell on the trails starting Wednesday night until Sunday morning, making the previously perfectly groomed trails extremely difficult if not impossible to ride! But with the help of many great friends we were able to quickly make a short, but increasing challenging (.15 mile) groomed loop in the back yard to race on. Since the trail didn't have enough time to set and firm as much as we would have liked, it became a lesson in tire pressures, tire size and rim width and tire treads. Rico's Moonlander with Bud & Lou tires at about 2 or 3 PSI became the ultimate racing machine!
Thank you everyone for coming. It truly was one of the most fun BYFBTT we've ever had! Scott and Peggy Peterson also were there and snowshoed but did not race. Angela, Aiden and Adam also snowshoed.
