| Ride Description: This was one of the most fun rides in recent history! David, Karen P. and I set off to do the River Loop Ride, but when it came time to make our left turn, David wanted to see what was on the other side. Since I, of course, (!!!) had been there before, I was all for it. So we headed down the primrose path...found the coolest old flea market where we were the centers of attention, made our way to the end of the path, took our old faithful Taipei Bridge up and over and then got off the road to take the brand new ramp down to the bike path near Dadaocheng Wharf. Used the potties, went out on the road and got some goodies at our fave corner convenient mart, then headed back home on the bike path. Whilst riding leisurely along, we got passed by none other than Josh, a handsome, young Australian teacher I work with. He was cruising along at 21mph and I decided to try and catch him. And by golly, I did. We rode together a bit, then I waited for David and Karen, then we just continued the rest of the way home. Excellent ride today. |
