Distance: 22.26 miles Category: training: general - solo Altitude Gain: 1,250 ft
Time: 01:59:12 Avg Speed: 11.20 mph Max Speed: 0.00 mph
Terrain: Road: Rolling Bike: Giant Freeda 700c Hybrid
Weather Conditions: WIND every which way. Turn right, wind in my face. Turn left, wind in my face. Turn a 180°, wind in my face. Somewhat overcast at times, really nice clear blue sky at times. Strangest place I've ever seen for changeable skies. Temp low 70's.
Ride Description: Solo...out to Flying Squirrel, then to JianNaan into Neihu, bike path until I had to turn around (at the new bridge, everything was closed up) then to the road past the Grand. Home a slightly different insane way...turned right on the street behind the yellow store...heckacious traffic, won't do this again. Then turned left just past Yangminshan Hospital, or tried to, had a bus try to take me out. How can a bike ride be so fantastic on one hand, and so horrendous on the other? Traffic, people in the way...wind like a son of a gun. Yep, that'll turn the tide quickly. This was a tough ride for me today, the hill up to Flying Squirrel wasn't easy, and the wind made me fight the rest of the time. Tough is good. Seriously.
