| Weather Conditions: Cloudy to start with. Streets almost dry. Started spitting rain not too far out, then rained heavily the last eight miles or so. Got a good drenching. Temp in the 60's, though, so my yellow bike jacket was just fine. |
Ride Description: First ride on Freeda. Last day of spring break, fifth straight day of rain. Headed out about 8:15 when it looked like it was going to be fairly clear. Went to Guandu, purchased a handlebar bag and had the guy at the LBS put it on. Then went on almost to Tanshui, just up the hill by the army guys. Turned around and came on back. Bike was great...pretty comfortable even on the green cobblestones. Gave it a good towel off when I got home.
