Ride Description: What a nice group this morning...David, Karen, Karen, Mary, and Carol. This was Mary's inagural ride on her new Freeda, and Carol's second on her new bike. Both were very comfortable on the bike and even made it up a little hill. Cheers for the both of them. Went to Tanshui, with the obligatory stop at the Guandu bike shop where Mary got a new helmet, and Carol got some gloves and a seat bag. Met some hunky guys who were gearing up to tackle Yangminshan. Wanted us to follow them, but we sadly had to decline. Mary, Carol and I grabbed the MRT and headed back home, while the others went on to Fisherman's Wharf. Me...had a major irritant that seems to be clearing up quickly with copious amounts of cranberry juice, and the other two had things to get back to. All in all, this was a lovely, little ride.
