| Ride Description: Oh, yeppers, this was one dang hard ride! The winds were pretty much straight out of the south, and hard enough to make the wind sock stand straight out. So what did I do? I headed...south. Went for about 6 miles, then turned onto Camp Comeca road and took the backwards loop back to GB. Except I took highway 30 instead of the old highway. I was beat, and it saved me 3 miles! At one point, I was in the small ring, on a flat road, going into the wind, and cycling at only 8.5 mph. Felt like I was going up Cherry Hill in Taiwan. |
