I just wanted to let you know your daughter was highlighted on the home page today, 12/27/09. I read her profile and just wanted to tell you what a "great job" you're doing. I hope your daughter will be an inspiriation to others her age as well and get them interested in healthy active lifestyles. Good job setting an example there "mom".
My son started riding with me when he was about 10. He is 31 now and has an active lifestyle in part due to the time we spent riding together. He will be getting married next year and maybe someday ride with his kids. Setting a good example is the best way to teach.

I want to ride my bike more than I drive my car. I don't know how many miles I drive a year (since there is not a carjournal.com...) but I am doing pretty well on my bike:
2004: Recreational miles = 259.17
2005: Recreational miles = 416.41
Commuting miles = 1834.24
2006: Recreational miles = 2320.20
Commuting miles = 2067.7 miles
