Trashed the body on Saturday and haven't really been recovering very well. Add to this that the warm weather while still around only shows up in the afternoon. Finally warmed up mid-afternoon with the help of an unfriendly wind from the south. Didn't feel well and decided to take the default short easy ride to Millport. Hunkered down and headed into the wind without much hope of a good ride. Was barely able to keep the speed in the double figures. Was mildly amused when passing my brother descending the slot with a big tailwind most likely cycling in the high twenties, who yelled "You're going the wrong way." Didn't give me any boost though. Made the turn around on the short climbing loop in Millport and started heading home. Made a valiant attempt to get the average above fifteen on the run back down the slot. Ran out of leg and road and failed miserably. Not a very pleasant day on the bike.
