Travel day today so it was an early easy ride up through the hollow. It was a bit on the cool side with a strong south wind. It made for a slow ride up the valley but wasn't in a hurry as body battery still way too low and a hilly century on tap for tomorrow. Spun easy on the hill and didn't climb well even at a relaxed pace. Once over the hill though it was a pleasant ride through the hollow and the tailwind allowed a little speed work through the Moreland intersection. Had a good climb up the grade on SR 414 but bailed before heading into Watkins. Didn't feel much like pushing the headwind back through the swamp even for a short two miles. Left it up to the road gods and would go to Watkins if the light was green and back down Stueben St if the light was red. Was pleased with their decision and had a nice coast down Stueben. Wasn't much of a ride and not too confident about tomorrow's outing.
